squawks are 5-1 coming off a loss at baylor - playing for a ncaa bid. currently 8-7 in league play, they should be sky high for k-state's visit. hopefully, their barn is filled with purple sunday.

Will be a tough matchup. They are playing now like they were predicted in the preseason. Jackson can give Yokie trouble and take away the lob over the top. We need to get her in foul trouble which she is prone to do. Need all the purple there we can get and take away their home court advantage.

i will always remember fondly allen fieldhouse being almost solid purple to the rafters when wecker's team played there. it was fabulous. unfortunately, this year's team has not had the following that one did due, i presume, to all the local small town kansans on that koehn, ohlde, wecker outfit being such a draw.greycat68 wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2024, 2:26 pmWill be a tough matchup. what a matchup that would be today between the two. could ohlde handle yokie and vice-versa? gabby would have to guard wecker. serena would have an advantage at point over chelsie. but the glenns would have to deal with laurie and megan. today's bench would be a difference maker and mittie would outcoach patterson, methinks. put shalee at point on that '03 team - they win the natty.

The Cats got off to a slow start, but they got hot late in the 1st quarter. KU up 19 to 15.

The TV announcers are awful. Moving to Smoller's broadcast.

This TV broadcast stinks big time. They aren't even covering the t. Spending all their time interviewing Woodward.

Glenn gets a steal and makes a layup at the buzzer. Refs ruled that the shot was still in her hand. Cats up 30 to 28 at the half.

She is 0 for 2 on 3's. I would say keep shooting unless her shoulder is bothering her. She has had issues with the shoulder most of the season.
