MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State senior center Ayoka Lee continues to add to her trophy case, as she has been named to the 2024 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's National Player of the Year Midseason Team. This is the second time in Lee's career that she has been named to the midseason team (2022).

Dear West Virginia - thank you for beating OU. They are so annoying.

the caitlin effect, katlander. of course, iowa's wbb seems to have moved almost exclusively to pay-to-view tv, so nobody beyond their fans saw it. iowa still lost by 17. indiana is one of those teams you don't want in your region. i would love to see the cats playing caitlin a fourth time though. it would be deep into the tournament - maybe final4 - and the cats matchup well with them. usc,e is the only nightmare scenario.

watched lsu beat auburn last night. another team that seems undervalued ranked at #12 with the same record as ours. they interviewed angel reese after the game. she seems like a nice woman off the court. thoughtful. articulate. funny. but like her coach kim, what a drama queen on it. yikes.

She gets by with that kind of stuff every game because she's the media darling. You can bet your butt if the other team had done that right in front of a ref they would have called it. The refs don't have the balls to call it on her.

The favorites to win WBB Player of the Year in every conference

MADISON BOOKER — TEXAS LONGHORNS
Since her teammate Rori Harmon went down with a season-ending injury, Madison Booker has been the go-to playmaker for the Longhorns. She has put up a solid stat-sheet, averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists a game. Booker’s well-rounded game and versatility has allowed the Longhorns to stay in the elite discussion nationally even after losing one of the game’s top floor generals.

I'm sorry, I don't care if she missed games or not, Yokie is the MVP.

this is yet to be decided. if the teams end tied - we need texas to beat ou - then yokie will get it being the senior v. madison a freshman. booker is a fabulous talent though. and i further appreciate that she's an engineering major. but she hasn't had the impact of lee, i agree.
