I wonder what it feels like to be in the finals. Sigh.

I think we may be the 2nd best team in the conference. There is no doubt Madison Booker is the best player.

Booker has a jump shot that rivals most men. That is meant sincerely as a compliment. A pure jump shot is a lost art in today's game.

as i wrote earlier, i'd take texas talent over iowa state spunky. the horns dominated. yes, booker is the best player in the league. a surefire pro who texas went to whenever a bucket was needed. she's surrounded by other good not great players, most of whom are athletic but not highly skilled. their center is actually meh. to my eye, there's not that much separating the horns from a healthy k-state as shown by their three games played this year.

“We remember … driving to Bramlage when the doors hadn’t opened yet and the line of people was out to the parking lot, trying to get in the doors,” she said. “You’re driving down to the tunnel, and you’re seeing this, and it’s just amazing. And then obviously, you’re warming up, and the doors open, and then everybody starts rushing in.”

Wow! I didn't understand this move and decided to do a little research:

https://roanoke.com/sports/college/va_t ... b2344.html

He is certainly getting a good financial deal that makes him the 3rd highest paid coach in the SEC, just behind that of coaches at LSU and South Carolina. Brooks is a native of Virginia. Sounds like he wanted to coach in the SEC. Not mentioned in the story, but I am curious if the uncertainty of the future of the ACC was a consideration?
