The Cats could make a run in the NIT, depending on the match ups and if they host. Does anyone know if the K-State games will be carried by ESPN+? Here is the website for the tournament: https://womensnit.com/sports/post_wnit

Thank you! Hope we have a big crowd at the game. It does appear the game will be televised on ESPN+.

I filled out the NIT bracket and have the Cats going to the Final Four. Probably wishful thinking on my part, but, hey, never hurts to dream and hope.

I like your optimism, but I think you are indeed using a bit too much wishful thinking. Here is my logic. It appears that Group 1, where K-State is placed, is a west region bracket. K-State is in the lower part of Group 1, which looks to be more difficult than the upper part. I have season tickets for Gonzaga women's basketball and have seen BYU, San Diego, and San Francisco play in person in West Coast Conference games. The WCC is not as physical as the Big 12. The games are officiated differently too. I have watched Washington and Oregon several times on TV. The PAC12 is more physical than the WCC, but not as physical as the Big 12. The Cats should be able to beat any of the WCC teams. They are about even with Washington and Oregon from the PAC12.ToledoCat#3 wrote: ↑March 14th, 2023, 12:01 pmI filled out the NIT bracket and have the Cats going to the Final Four. Looking at the match ups, if the Cats beat Wichita State, they likely will play Wyoming next. That would be a tough draw, especially if the game is played in Laramie. However, Wyoming has been averaging about 3000 fans per game, so there is a good chance that game would be played in Manhattan. If the Cats did beat Wyoming, I think their next game would be against Washington. Washington's average draw is about 3000 fans per game. So, that game would probably be played in Manhattan. I think the Cats can beat Washington at home, but not in Seattle. Oregon should have an easy route through the upper part of Group 1. They have been averaging about 5500 per game, so if the Cats make it that far, they would probably play Oregon in Eugene in the Great 8 game. I don't see the Cats winning that game if it is played in Eugene.

We’d have a better chance to win if mittie stayed home.

Cats are in front 19 to 12 at the end of the 1st quarter. 6 of their 19 points have been in the paint. They started out zone but have switched to man to man.
