Ladies destroy Central Arkansas
Ayoka Lee with a school record 43 points leads the Cats to a 103-40 win. Dominated from the start. The ten healthy and eligible players shared the minutes fairly equally. Sundell with nine assists set a first game record.

Ayoka Lee is simply outstanding and we are lucky to have her play for us. I hope the fans enjoy her this season and show her the support she deserves. And I hope the team has success to get her some national attention that she deserves.

It's only one game, but K-State beat UCA 47-33 last year. So, quite a big difference...

When was the last time they dominated this much and scored over 100? They sound like a totally different team.

I believe they put up 109 or something against Omaha a couple years back, but nonetheless, great game. This team is so much more fun to watch. The ball doesn't just get thrown around the peremiter with no purpose, Sundell is very poised for a freshman, the Glenns play really good defense for freshman and the turnovers are way down from last year. Being able to make an entry pass is night and day from the last few years.
UCA was very undersized and we took advantage. Lee could've had 60+ if we needed her to. Will be interested to see how this team fairs against a team with more size and how they handle teams that press, but we've got some players (and a team) now.

Good victory but more interested to see how they match up against a decently skilled team that is actually halfway good! If they hadn't blown out UCA I would have been a little concerned!
i'm sure these young girls we have surrounding Lee will suffer some growing pains when we start playing the Top 10 ranked teams on our schedule, but i think they will learn quickly. Katz is right. we have a "team" now.
