Are we seeing what next year will look like
Are we seeing what next year will look like
I know this season is far from over, but…….
Are we watching nexts years team without Lee? This team barely beat KU, BYU, and now OSU all at home. All those game we could have easily lost and in some cases probably should have. I watch Mittie just stand there with arms folded and we leave 3 pointer shooters all over the place
I’m worried about our post position for next year. I watch Mittie make no adjustments as BYU just lobbed the ball every trip down the court to their big girl all game as we tried to use Gabby as a front defender?
I like our guards I really do.
Someone tell me to not worry about next year right now. Someone tell me that Mitties success isn’t tied to Lee.

We have a recruit, not a #5, who scored more than 50 in a game. Might be another outside shot?
If Maupin can put on 10 pounds, she can excel at the 5 next years. Can't anybody out jump or out run her.

May have to transition to more of a run and gun style of play. Tough D and attack the rim may be our ticket to get the win.

my guess is that lee returns for her covid year next fall. so this will be a moot point. if she stays healthy, the next outfit will be the best ever courted by k-state.

lee has a covid year left. she can make a run at a national championship while finishing her post graduate degree, likely making more from nil than the wnba, where i doubt her game translates well. and yes, she's the team matriarch. i believe they matter to her just watching body language from afar.

I think all of those factors. She may feel like they have unfinished business due to this injury absence. The last 7 games would have looked a lot different with her on the court. Nil money could be a factor also. Don’t think she is mobile enough for WNBA.

I am not a fan of the NIL, but this is the new world of college sports so we are forced to participate in order to remain competitive. This looks like the perfect use of NIL. Yoki is as, or more, deserving than any other athlete at K-State.
