Link deleted because it was defective.
Looks like he is going to play ball in Europe next year and make some good money. i am glad he changed from his dope head days. Weber's tough love worked.

This really is a good story IMO. This kid has been knocked off twice. His dismissal from KSU, and not getting drafted. He didn't give up and now may make some decent loot in EU basketball.

i wish i could read the story. marcus took a wrong turn. weber played cop. marcus got his license renewed. everyone won as a result.

i will always regret that a photo of marcus hugging weber after the cats beat creighton wasn't captured for the humanity of that moment.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

freshmen turn into upper classmen.

young men grow, mature into better people.

it happens more than people want to believe sometimes?
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized...you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest

I think people eventually grow whether they play sports or attend college or not. But college is a pretty nice place to complete most of the maturation process. Too bad colleges are making it ever harder to afford. Also too bad they are pushing socialism.

The only professor to push socialism while I was at KSU is now a corporate lawyer. Go figure.
