If so, there is a really good chance I was in front of you in line. Either at the stadium for group tickets or those years by Ahearn for individual season tickets. I loved section J.

Had a group from the dorm out at the stadium. We would take turns - went to class when we had to. It was great fun as were the games in Ahearn.

I always had to work. No spring breaks either. But I know a lot of guys who did both and had a lot of fun.

Jack Hartman? That surprises me. I think back then there was Dunkin Donuts and Verns. I did get to both of those a few times.

Took turns waiting in line for the doors to Ahearn to open. Saw a co-ed get her leg broken in the crush to get into the arena once the student doors opened. The student section was crazy and a bit risque. I remember an ISU player named Wheeler who gave the student section the middle finger as he went down the court.

Yep. Ahearn. Took turns going to class. What great memories of the late night chit chat around the tents. When I was there, the players came out and passed around doughnuts.

I was talking about season ticket sales. I never camped for the single game GA games. The seats could be great, but not sure camping for several days for one game made sense.

We actually used to get in line on the west side of the football stadium BEFORE they even announced a date for group reserved to go on sale. We basically forced them to sell them for three years in a row.

Did the GA thing for 1 year, so much fun. Did a few nights at the football stadium.
