Oklahoma State with a postseason ban for the 20-21 season due to NCAA violations
Well the #1 recruit in the nation, Cade Cunningham, won't be in the postseason. Good thing they hired his brother for that 1 year.
Not to mention Rondell Walker and the flip floping Donovan Williams, who were KSU targets and one a few days committed to KSU.
Also have to wonder how the loss of 3 scholarships for the next 3 years is going to affect the team and the players. Have to believe that they won't be as competitive and/or have to "remove" the worst players if they want to get top talent. So their last choice pickup in Williams might want to be looking over his back.

A 10 year show cause for Evans. KU your turn is coming soon.

This also means the Big 12 tournament now only has 9 teams. I guess when KU gets the sanctions we will be down to 8 and not need the first day at all.

I'll believe it when I see it. The NCAA is really good at going after schools like NC State, oSu, and SFA, while coming up with excuses to let blue blood schools like UNC off scot free.Zoltar wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 11:29 amA 10 year show cause for Evans. KU your turn is coming soon.

Does or has the NCAA in the past, allowed incoming recruits out of their LOI when a university is found guilty of something and receives a post season?
Hard to believe Cunningham would even be considering OSU if they would have been hit with this before he signed, especially with being a one and done.

Evans who went on to be an assistant at South Carolina under Frank Martin and got USC in trouble as well.Zoltar wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 11:29 amA 10 year show cause for Evans. KU your turn is coming soon.

Martin, Underwood, Evans ... what a bunch of crooks. Many at KSU don’t like the old AD Currie, but letting Martin go may have saved KSU from some serious issues. Doing the right thing may not not always pay off, but Currie has moved on to good things. I suspect those that know what goes on pay more attention than the casual fan.

At least it was my "orange" alma mater, not my "purple" one that gets whacked on the knuckles hard. If they did the deed, the Pokes deserve the whack.

Oklahoma State is the first program to receive NCAA sanctions for rules violations related to the federal bribery and corruption criminal cases. Kansas, Louisville, NC State, South Carolina, TCU and USC have announced that they have received NCAA notices of allegations. Sources previously told ESPN that Arizona and LSU are also under NCAA investigation related to violations in their men's basketball programs. ESPN
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Seems like this should fall more in the lap of So Carolina than OSU. They can't be happy.
I recall when I first starting looking at this board (well, the other board actually) how unrelenting the bitching was about Curie and about Weber getting the job instead of Brad. Looks like KSU owes a great debt of gratitude to Curie and to Coach Keady. It's nice to be able to sleep at night.
I was glad to see Auburn also on the list. Hard to believe that Pearl could keep his nose clean for even a couple of years.
