yes, "odd man out" is the most rational excuse for them leaving. a lot of incoming talent can leave the journeyman feeling inadequate, i suppose. levi's transfer doesn't make us better. sloan leaving doesn't matter from row five. but whatever their reasons, it's not like losing dom sutton, nick russell, or angel rodriguez.

That’s an interesting choice. Somehow I just don’t see Levi really fitting into what they do both offensively and defensively, but hopefully it works our well for him.

I’m shocked that he went to a team of that caliber.

k-state didn't get better when levi left. he was a journeyman big that would have contributed his senior year. this is not losing the other two bigs. i always appreciated levi and thought he had some upside left his senior year.

I liked Levi, but never thought he showed a lot of enthusiasm or fire during games. Best of luck to the young man. Hope he made a good choice.

This is a fascinating choice. A10 should be good again next year with Richmond being a Top 25 team. VCU won’t be quite up there, but they have the skills to be in the top half of the league and possibly get an NIT berth.

Gotta agree with above posters. Not so sure Levi will quite fit the system of VCU. Nevertheless this is a great landing spot. One of the best mid major programs of the last 10 years. I wish we could play a home and home with VCU, I’ve heard that they have one of the best college basketball atmospheres.
