One key aspect as far as competition for playing time is what will the situation be as far as Covid restrictions this summer -- I assume it will be largely settled down by fall.

With Donovan in the fold, this is a totally different roster than anything KSU has seen in a while. There are literally six guys on the roster who were four-star recruits on at least one major service when they signed (Murphy was ESPN, DJG, Pack, Selton, Bradford, and Donovan W were Rivals). We all understand that ratings by themselves are no guarantee, but with that many highly rated players (plus Kasubke is a Rival top 150), you start to have some pretty good odds that you're going to have some talent on the court.

It should be fascinating to see how it all shakes out.

Guarantee there will be 2 or 3 transfers at the end of next season. Hope we aren't stuck in this cycle with the classes so completely out of balance.

You could make that prediction for the vast majority schools out there and be correct. Nature of the beast these days.

Fact: You can never have too many good players. Fact: And playing time will always sort itself out for coaches in time. Doesn’t make any difference what level your playing at. The cream will always rise to the top.

I used to spend time and worry about sorting out the best. Not anymore...it always sorts itself out. And this good group will sort itself out!

I agree with Kellis' assessment.
After that???

PG - Rudy Williams (This may be the biggest question mark. As highly rated a Pack may be, he is still a freshman. Rudy has proven himself at a higher level, but this could go either way.
SG - Donovan Williams (He looks the part physically and mentally. If McGuirl was not already a proven commodity, he would be the starter.). The beard on that guy!
SF - S. Miguel (Not sure who else to put here. Miguel looks the part so he will back up D. Gordon.
PF - A. Gordon - He is the most logical one to be here, but he may also back up Stockard. The PF and C positions may be seen as the same position.
C. D. Bradford (caveat - not sold on Ezeagu based on stats from UTEP and highlights). The fact that many P5s were after Bradford tells me he is the real deal. However, after watching some highlights, he looks to be a little slow/soft and needs to get in the weight room. Ezeagu looks like a Love/Shadd remix. Not sure what we will get from him.

Also, in the mix Luke Kabuske or the second coming of Will Spradling and Seyree Lewis. Love Kabuske's quick release, just not sure how he adjusts to the physicality of Big 12 basketball. Lewis is a nice get as he is very springy, but he will probably be with Kabuske as a 3rd option or a redshirt.

Thats true but the complete lack of balance in the classes is going to exacerbate the problem. No way around it just have to deal with it at this point.

Lol, you love to try to collect on bets you don't have the guts to make. Are you saying no one will transfer out of this 8 man class at the end of next year?
