Another year of eligibility for seniors?

I heard on TV this a.m. that seniors who missed their chance at a conference championship may be granted another year of eligibility. If true, it shouldn't affect football, but could be a serious factor for all other college sports.

I hope not. With scholarship counts that would put everything in whack with the incoming guys. Plus, it’s not like they missed most of the season, actually they didn’t miss anything except the final tournaments...

My understanding is spring sports, should not affect basketball.

Winter sports were all but over so giving them another season for a missed postseason doesn't make sense.

But the spring sports are only like 10% started. They will have to work through some things like expanding scholarship limits and such.

They are pushing this for spring sports, wouldnt be feasable for the winter sports, they all played their regular seasons and only missed out on post season play. Cant really give them an entire year of eligibility for that.
