Does anybody watch the NBA during the NCAA tournament anyway? I hope the kid recovers soon. Don't wish anything bad on any sport. Will probably make their athletes healthier for the end of the season.

To be accurate, the season has been suspended indefinitely (not canceled).
There is a possibility that the season could resume at a future date. Probably a remote possibility at this point.

The first case of person to person COVID-19 has been confirmed in Ontario. It was at a symposium. The confirmed person works on the other side of a U-shaped building where our youngest son works. He didn't give me specific details. I'll find out in a little while. If incubation is 5-7 days, I'd say it's been spread around quite a bit.

Dang near have to cancel the NCAA tourney. Playing in front of empty arenas doesn't really do all that much when you consider people will all convene in sports bars to watch the games. Just shut it down, although I'm sure CBS is expecting money back from the NCAA if they don't play. But if we want to "level the curve" as they keep saying, just shut down the tourney and try again later.
Entire universities are shutting down, so why play a basketball tournament that people will still convene to watch at bars and restaurants? Just shut it down and get this thing under control and then re-think things.
