Cuss at players and suggest that sneaking them cash is OK.
There needs to be a massive overhaul with this roster.

OK. And Bruce figured out how to win a championship with that great squad of 3-star players. Frank couldn't get them there. But we all know that Frank could have pulled it off if he had not been pushed out. No! Wait a minute. Six guys were ready to quit! So much for that.TexasTim wrote: ↑March 6th, 2020, 8:14 am
He got lucky winning those championships. Just say it. Dude is an average coach. Lucky to latch on to Martins team and they carried him to his first championship. Then he got lucky with KU being down last year. Simple as that. What did those two great championship teams do in the tournament? They wet the bed in the first round. The most Brucey thing ever
We win last year because "KU was down". Does that mean that KU wins in years when everyone else is down?

To say that KSU didn't have any luck making the Elite 8 is just wrong...every run in the NCAA tournament involves luck. Heck, KU's run in 88, they got to play the lower seed in each round till they met up w OU in the final. Coaches are judged too much on success in the NCAA tournament...I know that is where the "ultimate" prize is, but there have been a lot of crappy coaches get really good jobs because the bracket fell their way and they made a run. History remembers one team...sure, a final four gets you a couple year run, but in about 4 years, the only team anyone remembers is the one that cut down the nets.
That being said, KSU's championship last year did not come on a down year for the B12. TT, KU, WVU were all very good. Just give credit where credit is due regardless what you think of the coach!

Good post. Tournament always involves some good or bad fortune. Last year it was having to play without an All Big 12 player winning the Big 12 with him playing.JOKKO wrote: ↑March 6th, 2020, 12:12 pmTo say that KSU didn't have any luck making the Elite 8 is just wrong...every run in the NCAA tournament involves luck.
