Baylor v ku

Self is a damn good coach, this 4 guard lineup he's rolled out today was a brilliant move. Can't wait for him to leave ku 🤣

Baylor run. These last three minutes are going to be interesting.

The narrative that Scott Drew can't coach has been disproven at this point, but why they weren't fouling Doke down the stretch was a bizarre choice.

Both these teams are very solid defensively but they are going to get knocked out in March because they can't shoot from the perimeter.

Baylor lost it and gave it away at the FT line. Only 8 for 15 in your own gym for 53% isn’t going to get it done.

Hit FT’s and they win that game.

Heckuva game.

KU is stacked with Aduke (?) and Dotson and a myriad of guys who seem light years ahead of us at every position.

It ain't going to be pretty in Manhattan

No it’s likely not. The only thing maybe, maybe on our side is some history ku has had against last place bad teams on the road. The ku team that played in the national final against Kentucky, lost to a winless TCU team in Fort Worth. That TCU was very very bad. Ku also lost to a winless Tech team in Lubbock in the last conference game of the season. That Tech team was also very very bad. Both teams struggled mightily to put the ball in the hoop and lacked much identity and leadership.

I’m certainly not calling for the upset, just merely pointing out some teams who were likely just as bad, beating some ku teams that were likely just as good.

Yes. That's what happens when corrupt teams that don't follow ANY rules of engagement, play teams that follow the rules. But I'm sure THAT wasn't brought up even ONE time during the game today. My hope is that the Payhawks and Dollar Bill cut down the nets. And then get HAMMERED by the toothless/gutless NCAA so everyone across the country remembers forever how they have all those wins over all these year. Adidas Fieldhouse is FULL of bought and paid for employees and thugs. Rock Chalk Payhawk indeed.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

Bhoocy, funny you mentioning underdogs coming up to bite the big boys. I am watching some of the guys (Eruzione/Jim Craig etc) that were on the 1980 U.S. hockey team when they beat the USSR on the Miracle on Ice.

So, yes. It can happen. If we can stay within 20 it will almost be a win.

EpicSnyder...I know what you mean.

It’s a good point but I think you have your years mixed up. The KU loss to TCU happened the year after they played for the NC against Kentucky.

As for Tech, are you maybe referring to 2009, when KU lost late in the season to Tech, who wound up 3-13 in the Big 12?
