Re: McGruder and Wade
With two bigs coming soon, we definitely need to address this.
Go easy on the weights, the protein shakes and retain a foot specialist for the team. Also, let players wear whatever shoes will effectively support their ankles, knees and all the bones involved in fractures. Maybe there needs to be a clause in our shoe contract that allows for this. If it mean less money, then so be it. You can't put a price on a player's health.

You know I haven’t asked him what shoes he’s going with. But I can. I’m also a little superstitious and don’t like to mention feet with him! Dean told me a couple years ago about working out with Rodney in the summer. He said he about killed him! Lol

Question for you guys this time. Am I correct in thinking that Rodney, Wes, and Dean are the only three alums that have played in the NBA this year? And does anybody know of any former players except Angel and Barry playing in the g league? Of course Dean does both. And does anybody have info on the overseas guys like Edwards, Hurt, DJ, and Kamau? Or anybody else if I forgot one.

Why is there something rather than nothing?

I saw some highlights on twitter recently where it looked like Lance Harris was on the same team as Jacob Pullen!
A few notes:
-I am a big Clippers fan, even got the McGruder jersey. Even if his numbers don't pop, he has done a really nice job in his role. Typically matched up with the other teams best guard, defensively, so its a tough call but he has done well. Struggling a bit from three, but he only gets like 1-2 attempts per game. He also isn't asked to score a ton. His +/- is usually on the plus side which is good.
-Dean's numbers looked good, and he played the entire 4th quarter, unfortunately it was in garbage time so we have to keep that in mind. He does look quick and comfortable out there. Even if its garbage time, the NBA is the NBA. He had a sweet ally-oop finish along with another dunk, and was everywhere on the glass. I think he could grab a guaranteed deal for next years team if he keeps playing the way he is playing.
-Jacob Pullen and Lance Harris (!) are playing on the same team in Montenegro. Lance Harris is 35 years old, has played his entire post-college career overseas and has averaged double digits his entire career. Pretty solid career!
