Nijel Pack is the real deal ?

I think Nigel Pack is a special player who will score and make everyone around him better. Not sure we have ever had a guy like this. I think he will beat out Sloan early and will force Cartier to the 2 spot for most of the game. Mike's minutes will be limited and Sloan will be a sub. Once we get a ways into the season I see the starters as follows:

Bradford
Murphy
DeJuan
Cartier
Nigel Pack

The subs will be:

Levi/Kaosi Ezeagu if we get him
A. Gordon
Miguel/Kasubke
Mike
Sloan

We have to move forward if we want to be really good in 2022. I could easily see A. Gordon & Montavious as the starting bigs. This would be a team that could really push the ball.

Right now I’d say he looks like all the other upperclassmen with the exception of Sneed. Nonchalant would be my description.

Sloan is going to have to show a lot more than he has. And Weber in at least two public comments in the last week is asking to see more intensity from Sloan in practice. Even said on his radio show that maybe Sloan is one of those guys who has to be in a game to turn it on. Weber said coaches hate that but he has seen a few players like that in his career.
Well we need to see it in games too. On the road against Texas for a first year juco player deserves a pass. Lets see what he can do Tuesday night.

I haven't heard this, but I admittedly am not paying much attention to interviews. I'd prefer a coach deal with these issues behind closed doors. If he isn't bringing to practice, sit his ass until he does. Have the balls to do it, as opposed to air out your dirty laundry to reporters, then continue giving him minutes.

I have heard Weber comment on it twice. My guess is he is making these comments to get Sloans attention. He for sure has to turn it up in games and quit turning it over. Do that and he'll get more minutes.
