I hope some of Luke's 40 came from behind the 3-point line. And don't forget the sleeper of the class, Selton Miguel, whose team recently beat the favorite to win the Florida 2A championship. 66-63 after being down by 15 points. Their coach said defense was what brought them back. They are 8-2 and Miguel is averaging 21.5 ppg and 5.1 assists.

not sure why you call him 'the sleeper of the class'?

They can't get here soon enough. This team is really hard to watch.

I'm trying to be patient with them. We have been in a lot of very close games this season - unforttunately we have come out on the losing end of most of them. But still, we are close. They just need to get a little better and they will start winning those close ones. I have been encouraged with some of the little things like free throw shooting, but we need to continue to develop. We'll get there, though.

Thats where I am. Whats the point in being negative. The non con is about over and was a failure. But its about over.
Now we start the Big 12 race in a couple of weeks. Still have not had a game against a quality opponent where main contributors like Sneed, Diarra and Mawien played to their potential at the same. Need to get solid games out of those three plus add in what the new guys have and see if we can win. The coaches have their work cut out getting this to come together.

I am not predicting anything and I'm no longer worried about the record. That makes it easier to watch and see how this team develops.

Hard to imagine any of these guys will be impact players. One fringe top 100 and the rest top 150ish. Might end up being decent players but will take a lot of time and coaching up, not sure if the get the latter.

They will get better and they will be coached up. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention the last few years.
