Well I was hoping it would work out for him here in Manhattan. Good luck to him in the future.

I don't like seeing him transfer because we can use his depth. But I've always questioned his attitude and IMO, he's our 3rd best PG, so not a huge loss in comparison to most of our other players.
This should change things going forward on who we recruit, as both PG's will be seniors next year. Even though I think Nigel Pack will be a quality PG for us, he will still be young. Having back to back classes without a PG's isn't ideal. I could see us going after a PG transfer or another PG JUCO in 2021, and a freshman PG

he always reminded me of jevon thomas with a tad more aptitude but the same attitude. weber simply doesn't put up that crap anymore.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I wondered if it was official. I had heard some murmurs elsewhere about it. One less distraction, hopefully get the rest of guys on the right track

Nigel Pack is more then quality. He is the highest rated recruit Weber had gotten and the highest rated PG since before Huggings, if not longer. Now the later part isn't saying much because there haven't been a lot of highly recruited PG. The 2nd in is Jevon Thomas, and then Irving before that, but they are also miles behind Pack.KsJoey wrote: ↑December 11th, 2019, 5:23 pmI don't like seeing him transfer because we can use his depth. Agreed! He looks like a stud. Can't wait to see him and the rest of the class in Manhattan. Definitely something to look forward toAJcat7755 wrote: ↑December 11th, 2019, 5:48 pmNigel Pack is more then quality. It never seemed like he was quite on board with the rest of the team.
He did get a fair opportunity, as far as ability and attitude are concerned.
And that, my friends, is why coaches are always recruiting.

I agree. It just felt to me like he was never a good fit with this team. I actually thought he was going to pull the trigger earlier in the season.Sir Ocelot wrote: ↑December 11th, 2019, 5:55 pmIt never seemed like he was quite on board with the rest of the team.

Best of luck to him wherever he ends up, but he will likely have to make some changes in his life going forward.
