Bruce Weber is a very good bb coach and ...
I was not happy when we hired him, thought he was a has been re-tread rescued from Charleston by a dimwit AD. I am very happy to have been proven WRONG and am happy to say I am glad we have him. As a bonus the guy is a genuine nice human and does not cheat and he works very hard for the money he makes. Color me extremely pleased to have been wrong about Coach Weber.
He says the dumbest crap in postgame pressers so I find that it is better to ignore anything he says and just watch the results on the court. I am confident that we will look completely different, as in much better, in March than the way we look so far this season, as in not so good. EMAW

I have really been impressed with his assistant coaches. Lowery is a good guy to talk to if you are a basketball geek. If we can keep up this recruiting in St Louis, Chicago and Nap Town KSU will continue to be a good basketball team.

I think we are two years away from being really good again. Growing pains will hurt.

The great thing about basketball and about every sport is that if you continue to work hard, hustle and listen to a good coach you are going to get better and give other teams trouble. You will progress from shaky to solid.

nice to read a positive thread about coach weber at this particular point in time.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Nice thoughts. I think the problem, with his postgame pressers, is that he offers too much info probably to be nice to the questioners. A lot of coaches, give one, or two line answers. The more you talk, the more likely to say something nutty.wazucat wrote: ↑December 4th, 2019, 6:31 pmI was not happy when we hired him, thought he was a has been re-tread rescued from Charleston by a dimwit AD. Coach Frazier left for an Assistant Coach job at Virginia Tech.
It is close to where he is from (Baltimore). Also, it broadens his horizons to work for a new coach. It was entirely good will on Chester's part and on Coach Weber's part.
