Arkansas Pine Bluff / the Return of Shawn Williams?

Post by INTERSTATEDAD » November 18th, 2019, 10:04 pm

If you look at the past three scores that Arkansas Pine Bluff were involved in, you would say that this would be a good game for the young'uns to get experience. However, we said that about Monmouth and we know how that was....

More importantly, twitter makes it sound like Mr. Williams may be able to re-integrate with the team soon. This would be a good opportunity. It looks like to me that we could use another facilitator out there - would Shawn be that guy? If he could show some maturity in his play (and off the court issues), he might be a help.

Still amazing to think that in the last couple of years there have been 4 kids from Kansas high schools 4A and below to play in the NBA. Ojeleye still with the Celts played 4A, Baker played 3A at Scott City, Cauley-Stein played 3 years at Spearville and now Dean has made it. Pretty dang cool.

so appreciate seeing these videos. it's much better than reading what some scribe thinks is important from what the coach(s) may have to say.

We should win this game handily. UAPB is 0-3 and not a very good team. That being said, we'll have to play our normal great Defense and mix in our offense to converting the turnovers, scoring in transition, etc. We can play a lot of different players in this game to get all our guys some playing time. Good luck to the team. Go Cats!

They are 341 and 345 (out of 353) in Kenpom and Sagarin.

Yes, it will be great to hit shots out of the gate, in the first half. No more 40 + points needed in the second half tonight please!
