What happened is we started to play TEAM basketball, share the ball and make transition baskets caused by better defense. We were as good in the second half, as we were bad in the first. We are still missing a player who plays with intelligence when things start to go south like they did in the first half. Cartier does not settle the team down when sloppy play starts, instead, he presses and makes things worse. He has to learn how to lead for two halves.

I didn't hear why Dajuan's putback slam was waved off. Basket interference?

Are Nigel and James injured?

Was Shaun on the bench?

Cartier is definitely trying to figure out how to run point and be the key to the offense. He is struggling to find that middle ground between being too aggressive and too passive. Hopefully he gets a better feel for it as the season progresses.

It looks like the freshman are getting some decent minutes. From the structure of this team next year looks to be solid with a strong senior class and experienced sophomores

I wonder if Monmouth is just going to stay in KC and take in a few sites the next couple of days- I see they play in Lawrence Friday. Good scheduling on their part

KU will not be unfocused against them - they will put up 110. Cats need to grow up and be reading to play hard and under control for 40 minutes before conference.
