Unless something new comes up, or the FBI case comes down before seasons end(unlikely), this season should definitely count. Sure, there is a lot of negativity surrounding the program, but the "achievements" the team gets this year will likely be independent of any of that. Next year though, could be vastly different in a lot of ways.

i'm still looking for that piece where a player(s) from an opposing team said bramlage is louder than afh because the noise in lawrence is amplified/piped-in which has long been my stance having been there for wbb games that sounded like a regional final with the gym about 15% of capacity. i'm pretty sure it's in this piece which has a paywall. anyone here subscribe?

I subscribe to the sports only option to the Star. I enjoy the college, Chiefs, Royals coverage. Costs me $30/yr.
Too much, for me, of the Star's news/op ed package is a bunch of liberal crapola and reports on the daily killings.
It does a good job on entertainment/dining/etc.

Most articles at the Star, I can't see if I use the Private Window mode in Firefox, but this one I could. If I use a non-private window, then I get the paywall page.

I enjoy the Star, all sections of it. I see no bias in their news coverage, as long as they seek the truth. Their interpretation (editorial stance) of such news is their prerogative as per the 1st amendment to the Constitution.

I remember a KU player said Allen was great place to play but the Bram was louder and more intense. He also said he would miss playing in Manhattan. That was a few years ago.

Because Candace knows this area well, she asked Oubre about where in the Big 12 he heard the most boos.
“Kansas State is the worst,” he told her. “They’ve got a whole student section that hates your guts. They want you dead. Shout out to Kansas State but Rock Chalk, man.”
Oubre played one season at KU, then was drafted by the Wizards with the 15th overall pick in 2015. Obviously, that game in Manhattan made an impression on him. KCStar

Are you addressing me, or the guy who mentioned "liberal crapola". As far as this thread is concerned, I couldn't care less whose arena is loudest.tmcats wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 1:55 pmtake your politics to the 'gods' board. does anyone take this publication?
