Interesting. Like I said on the football board... this works out nicely for someone like me who dumped cable but am paying the $5/month for ESPN+.
I just hope that ESPN doesn't act like a drug dealer and charge next to nothing until we are hooked.

I wonder if there’s the possibility espn could make a switch during the season as the conference plays out if one of those espn+ games ends up being two ranked teams, maybe even undefeated in conference, vs having a couple teams bringing up the rear scheduled for espn, 2 or U.
In the old days before web streaming ESPN+ meant it would be produced by ESPN but broadcast by a local channel. Now I think it is mostly a place holder to determine which match up will draw more to the main channel.
Apparently there is a new partnership agreement with ESPN. It is called the Big 12 now network. 20 Big 12 basketball games will be streamed on the service through espn+. There is an article on big12sports.com about it.

Here is the count for each team on the Big 12 article:
Baylor 4
Iowa State 4
K-State 6
Kansas 4
Oklahoma 3
Oklahoma State 3
TCU 6
Texas 2
Texas Tech 3
West Virginia 5
Notice of our two UT games is also on the Longhorn Network. I doubt that falls under the ESPN+ umbrella.

Just scrolling through the scheduled games at the ESPN website, it looks like there are some games today that will be on ESPN3 - mostly smaller FBS schools.
