247sports has him as the 181st best player right now and there is a thought he will rise quickly this fall so K-State wanted to get him early before he did so.

The KSU staff will probably breathe a sigh of relief when they get him to sign in November. He is seen as one of (if not the) top point guard prospect in the state of Indiana, and that is usually a pretty high recommendation. David Sloan and Nigel would overlap by a year, so KSU should be well stocked in the small, fast point guard department. Looks like a very good pick-up for KSU.

I can see why the staff offered him. He looks good. Smooth, nice handles, good touch. Didn't see much defense, but offensively, he looks complete.
