How is Nigel doing?

Post by SCKSCat » June 11th, 2019, 4:48 pm

Does anyone have a scoop on work he might be doing to improve?
I am hoping he is a late bloomer like some big men.
The optimistic kid in me says Weber isn't pushing for a big kid because he thinks an improved Shade and Stockard can back up Mak

BringontheCats pointed out that their are 500 players in the transfer portal that are available, and that the staff may be doing their due diligence on finding a transfer who can come in and contribute immediately.

This is a very important season for both James Love and Nigel Shadd. I would not say it is now or never (particularly for Shadd with three years left), but both guys should probably ask themselves, "If not now, when?"

They don't need to suddenly become complete players, but this is the season where I am looking for them as a pair to provide about 16 mpg of adequate back-up play at center. They have the size and strength to contribute, so hopefully they have mastered the systems well enough to give some solid minutes.
