Town team with TREMENDOUS talent. Unconscious shooters..and makers. These guys have to be exhausted. 82 game regular season, lord knows how many playoff games plus pre-season. Even if they don't practice hard, this has to be a grind.

I've loved Fred VanVleet since watching him as a high school junior in Rockford. Unbelievable that he was w/o a D-1 offer until Wichita State. Weber apparently took a pass on him-not one of his better decisions. He could go anywhere on the court, fast, and do good stuff on either end when he got there.

I wish the Warriors didn't have multiple key injuries. I think they have too much to overcome. They truly play a good brand of quality basketball, both on offense and defense.

Rivals indicates that two schools offered Fred - WSU and Colorado State. Many very good coaches missed on him - not just Coach Weber.Highway26north wrote: ↑June 6th, 2019, 4:12 pmI've loved Fred VanVleet since watching him as a high school junior in Rockford. On reflection, Fred probably didn't have the grades for Illinois; they are notorious for squashing recruits on that basis. As most of you probably know he was from the toughest part of Rockford, which is pretty tough, and his mom remarried a police officer who got him on the straight and narrow. It's a great story. Hope Raptors can finish the job tonight b/c they might not finish it at all if they don't.Sir Ocelot wrote: ↑June 7th, 2019, 2:21 pmRivals indicates that two schools offered Fred - WSU and Colorado State. Nick Nurse totally just blew that game. Raptors were up 6 with all the momentum and he calls a timeout...Golden State goes on a 9-0 run and wins by 1. Just sickening.
