Yeah, never say never, but when you look at the facts it seems unlikely that he would leave at this point.

He is very likely going to be the featured player on next season's squad with plenty of opportunities to put up good personal stats without being selfish. Indeed, KSU will probably need him to up his scoring load. He was honorable mention All Big 12 this season, so sticking around to hopefully get to first or second team All Big 12 should enhance his prospects. He should get his evaluations (as Brown did last season), but I would be surprised if he decided to leave at this point.

At the awards banquet he was Co-defensive player of the year with Barry. Coach Weber stated that he was so busy promoting Barry as Big 12 defender of the year that he may have failed to properly promote X. There was talk about the huge role X would play on next years team which led one to believe that he is not going anywhere. His family was there and were lauded for their amazing ability to somehow show up at every game despite terrible weather and a demanding work schedule. They are huge supporters of their son and our program. My guess is that he stays. With he, Mac, & Cartier we have the nucleus for another great defensive team which should keep us in most games.

nothing more special than seniors. what they mean to the team, what they mean to the pogram.
sometimes feels like this can get lost in the every day 'fan view'.

I think it depends a lot on who does/doesn't come back. Dotson and Dok are 2 guys that would likely be on that list 'if" they return... as just 1 example.

What, no KU players? That won't happen.
Sneed - second team.
Player of the year? Who knows.
First team - hit the reset button. All 5 spots are up for grabs. This I'm sure of - if you finish outside of the top 5 teams, your chances of landing a player on the first team are practically nil.

I’m afraid Dotson will be back and I’m sure he’ll be on it.
