Here is a list of underclassmen who declared for the NBA draft (current as of April 11, 2019).

I expected that Howard would declare for the draft.

Markus Howard gave Marquette basketball fans some off-season news to cheer about Friday.

The guard announced on his Twitter page his intention to return to the Golden Eagles for his senior season.

The graphic on his tweet read "Dear Marquette: I'm back. Sincerely, Markus Howard."

In the text of his tweet, Howard also wrote "Unfinished Business. Looking forward to next season with this team."

I wonder whether this will cause Howard to rethink his decision not to go pro. Less chance for a Final Four.

Or maybe it makes him even more inclined to stay. He will be their only good player and can probably shoot 30 times per game if he wants to.

Maybe Howard coming back is the reason they decided to transfer. TBH, I thought he seemed like kind of a jackass when we played them in Milwaukee.

I would imagine when they found out Howard was returning, they left because they didn't want to see him putting up 25 shots per game.

I agree. He was one of the reasons Barry went to the bench. He was pouting because Barry was making a fool of him and Homer bailed him out. Then, every time Howard touched the ball, Homer called one of our players for a foul. Twenty some free throws. Can you imagine? This team has shut down some of the best scorers in the game, but Howard got 45 against them. Tre Young? Shut him down. Shayok? Shut him down.
Homer Marquette did more than any one to put a wrench in our ranking. We were never the same until we caught fire in the conference.

I hope Homer Bramlage lays two fouls on Howard before the first TV timeout in Bramlage.
