I cannot find anything online about Wade's injury. One thing I can confirm and will stand behind is that Wade will not play in the Big 12 tourney. Other than that I don't think we know yet. We may need him next weekend and will for sure the week after that.
Win the dang day!

ESPN is clearly trying to influence the committee to fit their narrative

It's not newsworthy if it's false. If they have an inside scoop, that is accurate, then good for them.WIldWIllieCat wrote: ↑March 16th, 2019, 9:10 amOr....now stay with me....it might just be newsworthy.
I think a healthy dose of Hanlon's Razor applies to a great many threads around here....

If KState believes that incorrect information is being disseminated, maybe they should issue a press release telling the facts.

It certainly looks that way. Given that a four and a five are not all that different, there is little reason to sweat the seeding at all. The big deal is the luck of the draw, but that is always true.

I know that I do say a lot of negative things about KSU, but BB definitely deserved POY. SO, my comment about getting "Barry Browned" was definitely meant as a compliment. BTW, my brother (a banker at UMB in KC) was talking to a KSU donor who was at Jack Stack when the Wildcat team came in to eat after last night's game. He told my brother that Wade was in a boot, on crutches and not putting any weight on his foot & would be surprised if he played in the NCAA. If so, that would be terrible - don't wish that on any player - especially a senior! Anyway, good luck the rest of the way. ISU board

The best way for him to heal up is to not inflame anything with the foot until the absolute last moment possible before game time. Walking in a boot, no weight, on crutches etc tells me that every effort is going into the treatment to get it healed up - not as an indication he is that badly hurt. He's a SR and this next game or the following could potentially be his last in college. For a competitor like Dean, I'd bet that you would have to cut his foot off before he would sit this run in the tourney out.
Dean will play, stamp it.
