I would say that I am very happy about the win. Not giddy but very happy. Maybe even very very happy, after reading the two prior posts.

Barry Brown driving the lane against Kentucky, West Virginia, etc. is something that Kansas State fans will remember for a long time.

I'll start to get giddy if we beat Iowa State on the road. That's something to hang your hat on, not a home victory over the last place team.

I'll also start to get giddy when Dean Wade returns to the lineup and makes a difference in our play.

Those are two things to get giddy over.

Another measure of giddiness is if Mike McGuirl starts to emerge as an offensive force.

I'm READY to get giddy, but I need to see more.

this ^^^ is a spot-on post for me as well. although, i was exceedingly pleased with the heart and skill shown in the wvu comeback victory. otherwise, i couldn't have said it better, p'dave. mawien remains a head-shaker for me.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

There is no doubt that this comeback win generated a good feeling but it only matters if going forward we continue to play like this. How do we look back on this moment if we go 6-12 in the conference? How do we look back on this moment if we go 12-6? Probably vastly different. Weber said in his press conference, "we've got to keep getting better." That's not just coach speak, that's what's needed.

Also in the presser, Weber said that getting too high after this kind of win is not good. He cited ISU's big win over KU, then they laid an egg at Baylor. That would be good advice for our fans too.
