A whole year plus 13 games is a small sample size???

Are we really boasting about 69.5 points per game with the full roster?

69.5 ppg would vault KSU all the way up to...10th in the B12.

CBB has gone the way of football in the fact that offense wins!

I know this will drive all coaches crazy, but it's next to impossible to win any kind of championship when you hang your hat on defense in this day and age.

You're basing one stat off of 4 games this year, and the other off of 5 games last year. And of those 9 games, 7 were either Tournament or P5 teams.

Solid Point... even with all hands on deck, this offense is still not good.

I guess the next few games will add to our sample size if 9 games is no indicator. 😂

All I'm saying, it's a fairly small sample size & it's a bit deceiving too comparing the overall harder schedule without Dean vs with Dean.

Kam and Dean are not only our best shooters they are also the best on the team at finding the open man. They all need to be shooting the ball more in practice, but I agree that some of our scoring problems are related to a lack of confidence.

I’m not convinced our schedule in the elite 8 run outside of Kentucky was tougher than a full season of league games. But that’s fine. I know what you’re saying.

This is correct, but we also didn't beat a single team that finished above us in the conference.

We all love that we were in the elite 8, but throughout the whole season, Kentucky was really the only "good" team that KSU beat the whole year.

Creighton was ok, but what good team in the B12 did KSU actually beat?

The truth on last year was that the team had a very fortunate run to the elite 8 in who the opponents were. Coming into this season we were/are over-rated (even w Dean and Kam) despite what BW tried to tell everyone at the beginning of the year.

I agree... I think tournament games are very comparable to Conference games. But both generally easier than Non-Conference which last year, our team scored 2-3PPG more in, than Conf Games. But that's getting off topic.

My question you to Puff. You know Dean better than anyone else on this forum. Do you think this is the best offense for the best player(Dean) on the team?.. or the best offense for the team when it's at full strength? I seem to remember several posts in the past where you didn't think the Dean was being utilized very well on offense.
