Someone like JO would be fine.

rodney's the only guy who would be comparable to wes, foster, brown, sneed. and rodney came out of the baltimore, pay-for-pay, pipeline. i'd like to think he wasn't on the roles, but, frankly, i believe nothing today about that time. angel and jake were good too, but angel left for miami over, i'm guessing, money from crooked larranaga. both those guys were guards, not bigs.
A lot of assumptions about Frank but none the less, all of those guys you listed were guards. Bruce has recruited some solid guards, but to say it's fact that he recruited better than Frank, even guards compared to guards is pretty iffy.

At the 1, you're comparing Clemente, Angel, vs Stokes, Diarra
At the 2, you're comparing Pullen vs Brown, Foster
At the 3, you're comparing McGruder vs Iwundu, Sneed

Sure, there are advantages of some over the other, but pretty hard to say 1 is clearly better at recruiting talent that the other, even at Guards.

bruce has had guys like d.j., dean wade and mac. better than frank recruited. that's just simple fact. and iwundu and x are better than any wing frank bought here. frank's good years were off hugg's recruits not his own.
Yes, DJ, forgot about him in the past post. So 2 Bigs that Bruce recruited at KSU who've turned out well.

Simple fact that Bruce recruited better than Frank? Based on what?

Rodney wasn't a big, and besides, he was a Frank recruit, playing just 1 year under Bruce, similar to players like Angel, Southwell, JO and Nino. Frank helped recruit many of Huggins players, but after that, Frank also recruited plenty of talent as a HC
Shane Southwell played 2 years for Weber. He went from 1.8 and 3.2 ppg under Martin to 8.4 and 9.9 ppg under Weber.

Thomas Gipson played 3 years for Weber. He went from 7.0 ppg his FR year under Martin to 7.9, then 11.7 and 11.3 under Weber.

Nino Williams played 3 years for Weber. He was injured his true freshman year for Martin and then was 2.2 ppg. Under Weber he went to 4.2, 6.2 and then 11.4 ppg.

I wouldn't call any of those similar to Rodney, who was already averaging 15.8ppg with Martin.

Some of that is recruiting good players by Martin and just natural improvement as they god older, but could some of that also been coaching by Weber?

Stephen Hurt wasn't a great big, or probably even a good one, but was serviceable. Then again, the years he played were Weber's worst 2 years at K-State so not having a better big did hurt those teams.

Tonight in our 20 point loss to texas at home we didn't have a single big man that represented a threat to texas. Not even close...

Getting quality Big 12 bigs and keeping them healthy doesn’t seem to be possible at K-State.

Pullen was recruited by Huggins, not Martin.

Sure Huggins deserves credit as HC, but Martin was well involved as an assistant in his recruiting. Martin staying on as HC is a big reason that class stayed in tact like it did... not to mention 4 years under Martin as HC.

Lawson from ku could go for 40 against us, it's scary to think about what he is going to do to our frontcourt.
