Wow, our offer list is pretty impressive. Have they put out that many offers for 4 and 5 star rated recruits in the past and just come up empty for the most part or have these last couple been exceptions with the recent success of the the 2017 and 2018 seasons?AJcat7755 wrote: ↑May 20th, 2020, 12:27 amI really have to think that CJ Noland, assuming he wants to follow his father, gets a spot on the team as a legacy. He would just have to decide before the spot(s) fill up.
So that currently only leaves 1 spot for 2021, unless they use it in 2020. Given how late it is for the 2020 class, I too would rather they save it and go all out selling the last spot to top 100 kids in 2021 unless they can get a 2021 kid to reclassify as noted above as there isn't much left in the current 2020 class.

I heared a Go PowerCat.com Podcast a while back where they were talking about how years back, Bruce and the coaches recruiting philosophy was to hand out a huge number of offers and basically see what would stick. Then, every year after that they have been offering fewer and fewer offers and focusing more on certain players. Did anyone else catch that, or better yet, does anyone know if that is written down somewhere, so it can be posted on this Forum. I really thought that was an interesting discussion.

K-State has offered 2021 center Logan Landers. He has picked up a few really good offers as of late including Houston, TAMU, and USC.

Looks like he could play the 4 spot and looks better than a 2 star player.Horses_n_Hoops wrote: ↑May 30th, 2020, 3:12 pmK-State has offered 2021 center Logan Landers. He has picked up a few really good offers as of late including Houston, TAMU, and USC.

On twitter, Drew Honas committed out of Pratt Juco originally from Medicine Lodge, KS to play at KSU. Assuming this is a walk on situation. Kid that can shoot and do the little things.

Excited to announce that I am committed to Kansas State as a preferred walk on. I want to thank Coach Flynn for everything he’s done for me along the way and I’d also like to thank Coach Weber for this opportunityWatutalkaboutwillis wrote: ↑July 15th, 2020, 1:41 pmOn twitter, Drew Honas committed out of Pratt Juco originally from Medicine Lodge, KS to play at KSU.
