Rudi may be a guy who really surprises next season (if there is a season).

That is great information.

At this point in my life, I would rather be optimistic and wrong than negative and right.

I would not say that our junior college players have been bad. I know that I expected more but most of the recent junior college players have at least contributed off the bench. I admit that Trice was a miss. However, Carlbe, David, and Wainright were okay. I think the Stephen Hurt was a junior college player and he was also okay.

So did I see things wrong, I looked through the 247 top 150 that was just released a couple of days ago for the class of 2020 and NONE of our new recruits were in the top 150? What the heck, 247 and Rivals are that much different? Miquel or Pack, neither were top 150? I was shocked when I didn't see their names. Someone more invested in those rankings, please let me know why the disparity?

No expert but I googled a couple of them along with 247

247 has Miguel at 89 but 151 on their compsosite rating that considers all recruiting sites.
Pack at 89 and 101 composite

I don't know how Pack and Miguel can both be 89 on 247 but they are. Maybe its a timing issue when ratings were posted.

Just different opinions on recruits, not that big a deal. ESPN has pack in their top 100, that’s an assessment that I’m sure some of the other recruiting services disagree with.

I use the 247 composite and our guys are:

Kasubke - 176 - he’s slipped since the beginning of the year.
Bradford - 151 - been fairly steady around there lately.
Pack - 101 - also been fairly steady around there, however in the regular 247 rankings he’s now 201.
Miguel - 155 - he fell a little bit as of recent, but again he’s also fallen a lot in the regular 247 rankings as he’s now 219.

I think you’re looking at the wrong column. 89 is their rating. They’re actually both sub 200 players on the actual 247 rankings (not the composite).

Spring recruits guarantee us 5 to 10 more wins.

I am not so concerned about wins this coming year as I am to see a bright future and hope for the team. It is conceivable our team may get out talented by more seasoned teams but not outplayed.

Last year wa was a royal embarrassment.

I don't follow or refer to the ratings. But if they're like everything else in college hoops I'd expect that guys that sign with the Dukes of the world get an automatic jump up the ladder. And the corollary probably that guys that sign with the K-States of the world get a bump in the opposite direction. Like how good could he be if that's where he's signed? Maybe you guys who follow it closely have an opinion about this?
