I think that video is from November 2017. He had an injury that kept him out of most of the high 2017/2018 high school. He has blown up this Spring due to his play in AAU ball. Would be a great pick up this year. He is also a legit 6ft 6.IStillLikeHarv wrote: ↑May 16th, 2019, 12:27 pm
Yes. He is looking at both 2019 and 2020 as possible classed, depending on whether he reclassifies. Here is an article and some video, fwiw.

Thanks for the update. The footage is labeled as "2019 Nick Blake Mixtape @ The Pangos LV November Madness!" on the video itself, but down below it is labeled as "Nick Blake - Durango - 2018 highlight tape", so it is anybody's guess as to what we are actually looking at. A year can often make a huge difference in the development of a player at this age, so what the staff is seeing now is what matters. I don't put much stock in this type of video anyway because there is no defense to speak of and every player makes all his shots. That said, his ballhandling skills were pretty good for a 6' 6" player, and he can obviously jump well.
If the staff likes him, I would be more inclined to take him in this class. He seems to be a decent possibility to replace Sneed, so having a year to develop behind Xavier could work out pretty well. Going up against Xavier in practice would tend to show him what he needs to do to develop his game to the Big 12 level. A redshirt could be an option, but I am not sure that is the best way to get him ready to replace Xavier in the 2020 season.
Here is some more footage with mixed labeling (the twitter post says April 2017, while the video itself shows "2019 Nick Blake Dallas Adidas Gauntlet Highlights With The @LV_Knicks", so who knows.

I think the 2019 refers to the year he would be eligible to sign a LOI. He has changed that to 2020 to get more interest from high majors but K State is trying hard to get him in 2019. At this point it would just be a finacial aid agreement as the signing date for the LOI for 2019 was Wednesday or Thursday.IStillLikeHarv wrote: ↑May 17th, 2019, 9:04 amxtrawildcat wrote: ↑May 17th, 2019, 7:37 am

Proof that K-State isn't done with the 2019 class. Via @MarkSingelais on twitter:
Gary Harris Jr., who just visited Siena the past two days, is set to head to Washington State next weekend then Kansas State after that, according to his AAU coach.

Same team is Nick Blake as well. Is there some strategy here? Maybe to either get Harris in 2019 and Blake in 2020, or to show Blake his spot isn't going to be left open?

Some video of Harris. Wonder why the ranking services do not have much on him.
Also, just shows there are a lot of good ball players out there. Guess it shows why a team like Duke can not just get a bunch of five star players and roll all their competition up.

As a FYI, I looked on the internet today but did not see any information that indicated that Damerius Wash or Goodnews Kpegeol have selected a new school.

I think Wash is going to have to end up at a JUCO or Prep school. I thought there were issues with his grades/eligibility.Sir Ocelot wrote: ↑June 4th, 2019, 5:21 pmAs a FYI, I looked on the internet today but did not see any information that indicated that Damerius Wash or Goodnews Kpegeol have selected a new school.

He is from Mali (likely a French-speaker, as his first name would indicate). Here is a clip of him playing for Mali in the U19 World Cup games in 2017.

Here is another video from 2017.
