Be interesting to see where the end up, but 2 examples of players that were highly recruited, went to a blue blood, sat on the bench, were over recruited and now transfer. Would it have worked out better if they went to a school with less top talent? Who knows.

For sure it would have. Look at Semi Ojeleye...he goes to Duke and hardly plays for 2 years...transfers to SMU and is player of the year in the AAC.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑March 30th, 2021, 2:43 pmBe interesting to see where the end up, but 2 examples of players that were highly recruited, went to a blue blood, sat on the bench, were over recruited and now transfer. It has worked out well for Semi as he has been getting solid minutes for 3 years in the NBA, but he had 2 years of being not much more than a practice dummy at Duke.

And right after KU makes spots with the "transfers" they have room to sign a 2021 kid.JOKKO wrote: ↑March 30th, 2021, 3:32 pmFor sure it would have. Yeah you notice they don’t seem to have a problem with nudging players out for players they believe are better. Of course they have the better players wanting to play there to be able to nudge players out.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑March 30th, 2021, 5:31 pmAnd right after KU makes spots with the "transfers" they have room to sign a 2021 kid.JOKKO wrote: ↑March 30th, 2021, 3:32 pm

And now Gehtro Muscadin is leaving KU. Just outside the top 150 in the 2020 class, another player that KSU was trying to get that ended up at KU instead. It conveniently opens up a free scholarship for KU.

Ah but don't forget there is a possibility that KU may receive sanctions in 2028 for buying players. That has to put a crimp in their recruiting. Just shows what a great coach Dollar Bill is.

Yeah, and their "sanctions" will be a slap on the wrist, at best.Highway26north wrote: ↑March 31st, 2021, 8:24 pmAh but don't forget there is a possibility that KU may receive sanctions in 2028 for buying players. SG from Rochester, NY. Hard to find a ton of info on him. But I see where he hit 6, 3s in a recent game.
