good videos there, cat'l, thanks for posting. he was an alpha dog. the other favorite during that time was david hoskins. man had some game, but injury bug got him. he never got to play with huggs' team, which would have easily gone to "the dance" with him in the lineup.

Meniscus. He was good. 6-5 guy who could score almost at will on the blocks. Haven't seen one of those guys for a while. Fun to watch. Not really a wide body either but just really good down low.

KSU is an option, but it's definitely not Williams goal to play here, IMO.

Yeah, he seems to want to take on any additional options and is constantly trying to get more offers.

He's playing the field now. If he's thinking of playing the 2 spot it's getting pretty crowded. D.Gordon, Miguel, McGuirl and there's always a chance of Sloan and Pack being on the court together. He thinks he good enough to be a one and done, so let him go somewhere where he can be a gunner.

Where did you hear he thinks he is a one and done. Not something I had heard before.

I also think based on what I’ve seen, that’s he’s good enough to be a one and done or a two year player. But it’ll depend on the kind of season he has as a freshman.

I don't know where Williams will go, but I doubt it will be K-State. I read an interview with him a couple weeks ago in which he said K-State was showing him the most love with 3-4 handwritten notes a day. He also said his sole goal is to get to the NBA, which is one reason OSU is considered a favorite. The Cowboys have a high profile recruit coming in and Williams expects there will be a lot of scouts checking out that player, meaning a lot of people will also see Williams. Given the Cats will be young next year with a lot of growing to do, I suspect Williams will go where he thinks he can get the most exposure to NBA scouts. Williams has size and straight-away speed, but I have never seen video of him against comparable opponents. Some of the other current recruits for the remaining slots in 2020 appear to have just as much potential. Selton Miguel appears to have more.

I think we as fans have no way of judging Williams as a prospect. His shooting was suspect in games he played this year. But he was coming off a knee injury. And who knows if he just got in a slump or why he wasn't making threes.
Weber has been there and watched him a lot. If we sign him, it tells me Weber likes his potential to help us. And Weber has talked to him and his family so he should know if he will be a good fit with the rest of the team.
