The annual boot thing

Post by learnin » October 19th, 2017, 2:36 pm

How many years in a roll (pun intended) have we had a big in a boot to begin the season. I won't even consider the other injuries. Fellow posters, you can't make this stuff up. As a poster stated on another thread, It seems like we have a depth issue due to injuries. I thought the force would relent at least for one year, but here we go again.

Makes the late additions of Mawien and Sallah all the more important. We would have been up a creek right now without those two.

love had a foot injury last year as well. once they have that issue, it seems like an ongoing struggle. dj never seemed right.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

It never seems right because they are not given the proper opportunity to fully heal so the "nagging" injury just keeps presenting itself over and over.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

My recollection is that Kamau had a severe knee injury during his Freshman year (in-game injury) that caused him to miss many games at the end of the season.

Not a big or boot thing. But recent and bad,

Another boot thing people probably aren’t totally aware of. Last year Dean Wade injured his foot from an old high school break from which he still has screws in his foot. He was in a boot every day until the next TCU game in March and never missed a game but couldn’t take his boot off for three weeks except to take it off before the game and then put it back on immediately when the game was over.

Has it been determined that Love will miss this entire season?
