I think a lot of us are underestimating the middle teams in this conference. A road loss to TT is not a bad loss. A home loss to TCU who is the worst three point team in the conference and hits 60% in that game happens. A close loss to ISU is not a bad loss.
Now we have a couple of big road wins behind us and the team should be able to play a little looser in the remaining games.
8 more games to go and we need to get 4 of them.

Good points! We have to face up to reality. At this point, it is not going to be easy to win a game in this conference. Heck, Oklahoma State went to WV and beat them yesterday. KU has had a lot of close games, at home this year, and got beat by Iowa State yesterday because Iowa State hit something like 20 threes. We have a slew of good coaches in this league and we play a true round robin. This is brutal. Each team, and coach, gets to know the other team very well. Most games are going to go down to the wire. A seasoned, cool as a cucumber, point guard is essential and that won't help you if a team blows hot like TCU or Iowa State against KU yesterday.
