Team USA and Castillo on FS1 now

Came on about 9:15 CST

He didn’t start and hasn’t played yet in the first 5 minutes of the first quarter.

He played some in the second quarter. Didn’t shoot the ball and picked up two fouls. But the officiating is pretty much geared to call for the offensive side. I think at least one of his calls, if not both, would have been called a charge or push off. Not sure if you’ll see a charge call in these type of games.

Is this the Under 19 USA Team? Pretty good honor to be selected to this team IMO.

I guess it was the U19 team. All players were either going to play for some university next year or were going to in 2025.

Besides what was mentioned previously Castillo got in the last 2+ minutes of the 3rd qtr and 2+ minutes of the start of the 4th. Then came back in the last 2 minutes of the game.

He took two shots. One on a transition 3 and missed and then tried to take it to the rim in the final 30 seconds and got blocked.

He looks like a true PG. Didn’t look to score except for those two shots. Played pretty good D considering what the game was, which is more of an offensive showcase.
