Final Big 12 standings.
We are a couple of last second guarded 3s from a pretty decent Big 12 record. IE @TCU and @Cinci.
And we had the Toissaint non travel call that cost us the TT game.

But also had some games where good fortune was on our side.

Overall, I am satisfied with this season when I factor in the loss of Glover and Tomlin.

4 pivotal close games that determined our chances for dancing: at TTU, at OSU, at Cincy, and home against TCU. Split those games at 2-2, and We're sitting at 10-8 conference record tied with KU and BYU - both teams we split games with this season. That's how tight the conference is. All that said, projections are 9 B12 teams will go dancing and we're in 10th place, however we are tied with the same conference record as OU (they have a better overall record and head to head win). Have a better showing in the B12 tourney and we can slip in as the 9th B12 team. If OU can beat TCU (which will be tough), unlikely they beat Houston. Cats can beat both Tejas and ISU as we just did. Even then, I'm thinking we have to win at least 2 and likely 3 more games in the B12 tourney to go dancing. So you're sayin there's a chance......

I was hoping to pick up some cheap tickets but with KU in the same session they aren’t that cheap. Maybe they’ll go down the closer the game gets.

This CBS article puts K State on the bubble.
Lunardi seems to be saying if we win the next 2 we are in.

All of this is true but how about all of the games we barely won? Those easily could have gone the other way. We had just as a great a chance of 4-14 as 10-8. Wishful thinking is nice but I think you need to look at the full picture.

Won all of our OT games.
Good and bad fortune was mostly pretty balanced with a slight edge to misfortune. I think mainly due to the TT loss when Toissaints obvious travel was not called. That was a loss that did not result from either team making a big shot or a big play.
In fact, Toissaint made a bad play but got bailed out.

Pulling for WVU to beat Cincy. We are in competition with them for a bid and if they win they’ll have a good chance to beat a depleted ku as both Hunter and McCollough are not playing.

I am less concerned about what could have been, than what can be.
2-0 is all I care about.
It makes me happy we are in this position.
