Wow. That would be huge for Baylor. It would be almost like us losing Bill Snyder in his prime.

My question is “why”? She has one of the top programs in the nation every year and has been almost as dominant in conference as ku has on the men’s side.

I’m not sure LSU really has much of any history of great success do they?

And how many teams are they currently behind, Miss St, Tennessee, S Carolina, Kentucky, ????

Is Drew going to the pros? I suppose it is a good time to cash in on success.

She has already been announced as the new coach of LSU 17 hours ago.

It may be more dollars. Otherwise why do it?

She played at Louisiana Tech. Although LSU isn't her alma mater, maybe the familiarity with the area was also a selling point. Or getting away from Baylor, a religious school that has seen some bad light. Or maybe something is being covered up at Baylor she wants to get away from. Or maybe she wants a new challenge, or LSU offers better resources. Hard to tell.

She's from Louisiana. Talent will follow her. If Nick Saban left Alabama and moved to Lowrents, the Payhawks would IMMEDIATELY become relevant.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.
