Sorry, cold day in hell when I pray over a basketball coach. And I do not think God cares where Tang coaches or even if he coaches.SCKSCat wrote: ↑April 5th, 2024, 2:48 pmIt appears that this is serious.
All we can really do is hold up Coach Tang in our prayers.
I think he knows that most of the fan base really like Coach Tang and wished that he would stay and finish building what he says he wants to build on fulfilling the promises he has made. I would think that this would be the God pleasing thing to do.
If Tang believes that God is wanting him to be the Arkansas coach, then that is what he will do.
I would favor Coach Maligi as his replacement as he has the credentials to be a good head coach.

Yeah, I think Tang will be fine at the end of all of this regardless of what he does. He already has generational wealth, and he will just end up getting more generational wealth regardless of what he chooses. So whatever.xtrawildcat wrote: ↑April 5th, 2024, 4:09 pmSorry, cold day in hell when I pray over a basketball coach. They are all going to have a new head coach next season. Is there something else?

So who suffers the most from all of this changing and movement of players and coaches? I content not the ones voluntarily moving. they are moving to get more for themselves, selfishness is involved. Programs and schools are effected. When a coach his team is impacted, but most higher profile team members can move.
So I say fans suffer. I think it puts a sour taste in a lot of fans mouths about college sports.

NCAA men's championship game viewership since 2019.... Is the pattern a coincidence or does it represent the free agency era and more and more people having just lost interest, especially if their team isn't playing? The last 2 years speaks volumes to me. I hope this is the case. More people need to turn it off and maybe the morons at the top will take notice to what they are doing to the game.
