They were 17-9 coming into the tournament and on a 4 game losing streak. They lost their top scored earlier in the year. They were fortunate to make the tournament, but got hot at the right time and Juzang took it to another level.

It would be an interesting matchup. Gonzaga is good but Baylor is really quick. Quickness can be a real neutralizer.
Baylors guards would have to swallow up the Zags guards defensively. If they can get the ball inside to Timme consistently I don't see Baylor being able to win. Baylor got their mojo back at a perfect time after being in a funk after their Covid layoff.
Quickness … any experienced player or coach knows that speed is more important than size.
