If the goal of a player is to get to the NBA, then best leave. I don't see any evidence that Weber helps any player to get better. He might teach them to hop around like a cricket and chirp loudly but do so nicely.

I'm in no way sticking up for Weber, but not sure how you can really make this claim considering it seems we went a couple of decades without an NBA player, I can't think of one from Mitch and Steve Henson until Cartier Martin and Beasley. But Weber has coached three guys that are currently in the NBA (Rod for only one year and Rod is in the NBA because Rod is simply a warrior), but to say there is no evidence he helps any players get better is absolutely ridiculous. Even those that weren't NBA guys like DJ got a lot better. Weber's problem is keeping guys around long enough to develop them into their best self, but if they do stick around, he has proven he can develop them enough to give them a chance.

Oddly, the only offers made known for him so far are Stony Brook and Jacksonville!

there are a slew of chicago area schools. it would surprise me if he doesn't end up there. fix his jump shot and he'll be a baller for someone - loyola, depaul, chicago state, milwaukee, a long list.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Are you going off his twitter? Because those offers were Gordon retweeting his friend Justin Harmonn from Barton CC. I don't see that Gordon himself has tweeted out his offers unless I'm missing it.

My bad I should clarify. You are absolutely correct. Literally every school within 2 hours of the Loop. I just meant it was strange to me that outside of that there were no major D-1 interest I could find or listed on a couple pay sites. More just my shock as I thought there would be tons of interest in him from D-1 schools all over. Not just to see only the Chicago area schools and those 2.

However maybe I shouldn't have been since there were a couple of basketball 'analyst' who predicted this. They stated with over 1000 players in the portal already and 74 schools with 5 or more player transfers that schools would be far less quick to pick up multi year players like him with pronounced deficiencies. Just thought he would be more of a commodity!

No mostly Rivals but you saying that makes more sense. He probably hasn't actually said everyone that has contacted him and Rivals is only listing ones that they have confirmed from the school or other sources besides him since he or anyone close to him hasn't said. I couldn't see how that Rivals list could be complete. Didn't make sense to me.

A. Gordon is going to Southeastern Louisiana of the Southland conference who has been to the NCAA tournament once in their schools history.
