I saw him as a guy likely to transfer. That looks to be a certainty now. He will find a decent team to fit in with. He just doesn’t fit our system well unless he were to become a deadly shooter from the corner and become a solid wing defender (which is possible). Having a clear role is important in basketball. He doesn’t have the body to defend inside and is a little slow on the wing. Classic tweener.
I totally disagree. He firmly established a role in the second half of the Big 12 season. Doing all the little things while not forcing offense. Rebounding at a high level. Any shots he got came from rebounding and setting screens for others. Gets some assists with good passing. Does not turn if over much. Defense is actually good if you watch what he does in help defense.

Weber says he wants him to gain some weight and strength this summer and further develop his shooting. He will be a very valuable Big 12 player if he does that.
He’s certainly not that strong and will need to get more bulk if he’s going to guard inside. He might be long enough to guard smaller guys even though he’s not the quickest. Like I said, he’s got a home on a solid team as he improves, but I’m not sure what position he is right now.

His absence was certainly evident Saturday.

i agree that a'gordon got much more efficient the second half of the season. and i also agree that he needs to get a lot stronger.

Antonio Gordon, like Dajuan, have both taken noticeable step ups in their game, from last year. Hope to see them both back next season.

I hope he makes a full recovery & is able to come back next year. He showed promise as a young player & may get better with a bit more experience. Some players take time to develop.

I guess over on K-State Online, they are saying Antonio is gone and won't be back.

We will see.

There are reasons that coaches have to recruit all of the time, even when it might look like they are recruiting over current players.

I like Antonio and want him back but we are deep at the 4 so its not a disaster. He had seemed to find his role on the team and was contributing in a variety of ways. I have a feeling he'll be back.

I wonder what the future will be for Murphy as well.
