Some videos posted on K State twitter of the current team working out.

Wearing masks during all workout both in the weight room and on the floor. No doubt they make it harder but also show what you can do when required to and when you are committed.

Scroll down a little to see video of the 5 freshmen in the weight room and a picture of them all standing together. All of them look like they have been hitting the weights for a while and I hope they don't put on more upper body weight.

Also a short video segment on Rudi Williams.

Seldon never left the country. He went directly to Manhattan as they were worried about him getting back in. He and McGuirl did some workouts at a place in Lawrence back in May or June.

Regarding lung capacity. I know they have said they have to give them more breaks due to the masks. I also wonder if they keep the temperature a couple of degrees lower due to those guys wearing masks. I know one of the trainers was wearing a sweat shirt in one of the videos.

I have no clue if masks help build any lung capacity of if the masks are detrimental to building lung capacity. Maybe somebody with a training or medical background has an opinion on this.

For example, imo, working out when it is 100 degrees vs 70 degrees makes the workout harder but you do not gain as much endurance and strength. You just suffer more.

I expect they were more interested in the suffering part.

Ran into Mike McGuirl the other day. He had a mask and a new do so I wasn't sure. I asked how he was doing. He said OK. I said you are Mike aren't you? He said Yeah. He's all of 6-2. I asked how the team was looking. He said real good. I said I guess you are the leader now. He said Yeah, we're going to surprise a lot of people. I said Great, I'll be cheering you on. He said Thanks. Then I left him alone. He was very nice about it.

we met xavier sneed when he was a freshman. we talked a little and I thanked him for coming to k-state. i said to my wife then: man, that kid is top drawer! he was so nice. i knew we had a keeper in X.

these kids always seem to enjoy meeting and talking with fans. the fishbowl hasn't gotten to them just yet, I guess. i met bishop one time in varney's and said, tongue-in-cheek: who quarterbacks this team? he lit up that grin like the fourth of july.
