I posted this in the 'other sports' Heading: https://www.k-statefans.com/forums/view ... =12&t=9741

I knew that Earl Woods was one of the first black athletes at KSU but a search for more info led me to find Harold Robinson. He was the first black athlete at KSU and in the Big 7. Is there a plaque honoring him somewhere on campus?

I am proud to know that KSU was the first league member to have black players on scholarship.

They did not make the sacrifice that Jack Trice did at ISU but should be recognized.
Win the dang day!

Veryl Switzer was another African American trailblazer at K-State. I believe he was the first African American football player to graduate from K-State in the early 50s.
