I'd say we're pretty solid in this ranking.

Hmmmmmm KU must count the folks that show up to talk basketball. Nebraska has that many folks show up, when they've been dreadful for years.

It's things like this that just perplex me. Packed stadium, top 25 facilities, winning tradition, P5 conference, #1 college town (twice now, I think) etc.... but we are recruiting on the level of schools that show up 60-90 on this and have garbage facilities in comparison. I know location has much to do with it, but it often makes me wonder if we have a portfolio of all of the above to open up and show kids and parents in their living rooms. I'm being serious here. Not many other programs have what we have as consistently as we have it. I've been saying for years that KSU/Manhattan is very, very underrated and not sold enough by our coaches. If they don't walk in with a folder full of this stuff (pictures, polls, rankings) with a comparative chart for other schools comparative schools, then they are truly missing the boat.

I think the current staff are excellent salesmen and are doing exactly what you propose.

Hmm I was at every game the last five year and the stadium wasn’t full. I would guess 2/3 most games. I assume “Many” tickets are sold to third party vendors which then show up on third party sites. No idea what the number sold in that manner is. All an illusion to get you to panic and get your season tickets now. In the mean time they are filling my email box with weekly emails wondering it I’m going to renew and weekly incentives.

baloney, two-thirds capacity is 33,333. there's never been a game in my quarter-century attending k-state games as a season ticket holder with that low of attendance at the start of any game, not a single one, even isu last 'winter.' k-state bases attendance on tickets sold plus attendance of media and others given a pass. that's what john currie told me when i asked. i'm not sure why we need to call our athletic department liars?
